New therapy! brain cell renewable

Technology channels () message: scientists study found that the adult brain cells are implanted in experimental rats after growth of new neurons. This discovery is expected to look for Alzheimer's disease and other neurodegenerative diseases, paving the way for new therapies.

Florida, USA scientists will mature human brain cells implanted in mice brains, find that they can be successful differentiation of new nerve cells and can be distributed to multiple areas of the brain. At the same time, scientists still indifferent success enables a single adult brain cells to differentiate into millions of new cells.

Further experiments to prove that the human brain cells mature, and can be used multiple times to generate many different types of specific cells. The research results for the first time that ordinary human brain cells also have similar stem cell self-renewal capacity.

Scientists believe that their study in theory that can extract a single human brain cells and use it to produce enough brain cells to replace any cells in the human brain. With this new way of human brain cells, may be used to repair and update of Alzheimer's disease, patients with brain damaged tissue.
